Honor The Treaties is a short documentary following photographer Aaron Huey‘s work on the Pine Ridge Reservation in Manderson, South Dakota. This moving short film highlights a part of the country with only 300 citizens that is littered with gang warfare and 90% of its inhabitants live below the poverty line. After photographing and documenting this unique story and landscape, Huey decided to make a mural in Hollywood and spread this story to the masses. He commissioned legendary street artist Shepard Fairey and together they took over ‘Barracuda Wall’ in Melrose. The short film has received a lot of recognition and won Best Short Documentary at Red Nation Film Festival, 2012.

Eye catching, colorful, bold, fantastic, surreal and psychedelic, are all words that come to mind when examining the work of American artist Oliver Hibert. His bright palette and magical scenes caught the attention of MTV for a music video at the ripe age of eighteen. Since then his clients include Disney, MTV, Nike, Adidas, The Flaming Lips, Diesel, Fender, BBC, GQ Magazine, Time Out Magazine, Proctor&Gamble, Salomon Snowboards and Yellow Book. Check out some of his colorful and psychedelic treats below.
