“I shoot nude photo series for magazines and capture only what’s necessary not to overstimulate you.” So says German photographer Simon Bolz. Hailing from Frankfurt, Germany, Bolz specializes in capturing the nude female form and is widely featured in publications all across Europe. His latest series titled Dark Side of the Room features a gorgeously seductive shoot with Gia Maria with great uses of colored lighting in a darken room for nicely filtered final shots. Check out the final products and a ‘making of’ video below.

OETKB (aka Instant Karma) is a filmmaker, photographer and artist who is happy shooting music promos, documentaries and narrative fiction. He’s been around the block but somehow he retains a youthful energy. This series of polaroids was shot exclusively for tokyo-based independent web magazine JAGR. Check out his vimeo and tumblr to fully embrace his craft!

Jonathan Lennard is a photographer and film director that stands as a legendary figure in my mind. In 2001, I was traveling throughout France and ran across a couple of black & white postcards with killer photos on them. The first had a total rig standing on the beach holding an 80′s shaped skateboard with a dude getting barreled in the background. The second featured a topless rig in tight blue jeans on her knees, surrounded by a shit-ton of empty bottles, shaking and spraying a full bottle of booze. That was my introduction to Jonathan Lennard and ever since I have been an avid fan. Later, I learned that Jonathan was raised in New York and has since become a major film director and high fashion/celebrity photographer.
